Leonard Niewiarowicz

Leonard Niewiarowicz was a 60mm mortar gunner with the weapons platoon of G company. He was with them from training in the states, then entered the ETO at Omaha beach on July 4th '44, was wounded on December 16th '44, returned to the unit and was with them through central Germany and home again in August '45. Mr. Niewiarowicz passed away in April of 2006 at the age of 88.
